Playing to Learn

At King of Glory, children learn through hands-on experiences, purposeful play, and meaningful interactions. Our teachers use a combination of The Creative Curriculum®, Virginia’s Early Learning & Development Standards (ELDS) Birth–Five Learning Guidelines, and CLASS to support the whole child. Together, these resources guide teachers in creating developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage children to explore, discover, problem-solve, and build new skills while developing strong social-emotional skills and relationships.

Our curriculum meets children where they are, builds on their individual interests and abilities, and helps them develop the confidence and skills they need for continued learning.

Is the registration fee annual? What’s it used for?

  • Yes, it’s an annual fee, and it covers the administrative costs of enrolling children in our school.

When is the registration fee due?

  • Your registration fee should come with your application. Your child’s spot will not be reserved until you pay the fee.

Do you have to pay a registration fee for each child? Are there discounts?

  • Each child has to pay a registration fee, and there are no discounts.

Do I need to fill out an application for each of my children?

  • Yes, each child needs their own application.

Is there a sibling discount?

  • Yes.

Do you have any other discounts?

  • KOG Member discount: 10%

  • Military discount: 5%
