Rev. Shawn Linnell

Associate Pastor

Shawn has been many things. He’s been a cadet and collegiate wrestler at the United States Air Force Academy, a serviceman, and a hospital Chaplain. He’s been a welder, machinist, forklift and crane operator. He worked his way through college as a Karaoke DJ in dim-lit bars and renovated old houses into homes. He’s lived in many different states from California to Florida, Montana to Texas and a few in between. Eleven years ago the LORD took Shawn and set him apart to serve the Church and dedicate his life to God’s people. For eleven years Shawn faithfully served the people of God in Blair, Nebraska, and now the Holy Spirit has brought him to serve the saints in Christ here at King of Glory.

Of all the ways Shawn has served, there is none more humbling and cherished than to be the husband of Susan and father to Zoe, Gabrielle, and Abraham. Susan is a classically trained vocalist who, in addition to having her own vocal studio, has performed with the Des Moines and Omaha Opera. Yet, most of all, she is full of faith and grace.
